Fugue is confirmed to debut during the Version 2.7 update as a Fire Nihility character, expected to play a major role in the update's story. HoYoverse also confirmed the long-rumored release of Sunday as a playable character for the Version 2.7 update, as well as teasing a new form for Herta. Fugue's addition to Honkai: Star Rail's roster is expected to be one of a plethora of highly-touted releases coming to the game in the near future. HoYoverse confirmed another of the game's most highly-anticipated characters will be joining the game in Version 2.7, with the long-awaited release of Penacony character Sunday. Several leaks and rumors have also suggested the existence of a five-star version of Herta planned to come to the game, with HoYoverse recently teasing Herta's real form as well. The long-awaited additions in Version 2.7 come as HoYoverse recently shared all the details about Honkai: Star Rail's upcoming Version 2.6. The update will see players returning to Penacony, introducing one new playable character in five-star Imaginary Erudition character Rappa. The beloved Simulated Universe game mode will also see its newest expansion during the patch, set to be a major update on the scale of past events like "Swarm Disaster" and "Gold and Gears."
