Daniel 149 Posted October 5, 2024  Venom: The Last Dance leaves fans uncertain by withholding the official rating to the last minute. The potential for an R-rating for Venom 3 could signal a darker and bloodier final installment. The outcome of Venom's rating and box office numbers will determine its legacy and impact on future Sony Marvel films.  While Venom: The Last Dance tickets are already available for purchase in some regions, the film has managed to keep one crucial detail eerily undecided to the dying minute, leaving some fans unsure of what to expect when the film hits theaters. Venom: The Last Dance was announced at Cinemacon 2022 following the mixed reviews that 2021’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage received, with critics notably still taking time to praise the performances and the chemistry between Eddie Brock and his symbiote partner. Franchise leading man Tom Hardy confirmed that Venom: The Last Dance is his final movie playing the character, giving the film a much more high-stakes role as the curtain call for the only real success of Sony’s Marvel film adaptations. As such, fan expectations have been fairly high as many expect those in charge of the film to pull out all the stops and really lean into the character’s potential for destruction and crass antics to send the trilogy off with a bang.   Source: https://gamerant.com/venom-last-dance-major-issue-resolve/
